Thanks to organisations

Vinqlo exists thanks to the organisations that believe in the project. They are the ones who support Vinqlo and open the door to the people they support.

How it works

  1. Step 1: The organisation joins Vinqlo

The organisation becomes part of the project and its network.

  2. Step 2: It receives its invitation code

Each organisation has its own code for the people it supports.

  3. Step 3: Its people join with the code

You can only join Vinqlo through an organisation. With the code, each person creates their profile.

  4. Step 4: They connect with the whole network

They can meet people from their own centre and from other organisations in the network.

An ever-growing network

Someone may not click with anyone at their organisation, but at another there may be a person who would become a great friend. By connecting all organisations, that first contact becomes possible.

Your organisation's own code

Each person signs up with your organisation's code, so only the people you choose can join.

What Vinqlo is, and what it isn't

Vinqlo is only for making friends. It isn't a dating app and it doesn't aim to encourage romantic relationships: the goal is for the people you support to talk, get to know each other and feel less alone, with you by their side.

Verified account and announcements

Your organisation's account is verified with a badge, and your users can follow it. You can publish an active announcement (a workshop, a grant, an activity) that reaches the whole network as a notification. The account is for posting and announcing: organisations don't get a dashboard with statistics or people's data.

What your organisation sees, and what it doesn't

Your organisation can't see its users' private conversations or activity, and has no lists of who uses the app: inside Vinqlo, nobody knows which organisation each person belongs to. If someone reports something, the Vinqlo team reviews it and can step in and let you know if your help is needed. That way we protect everyone's privacy without leaving anyone unsupported.

Our goal

Connecting more and more organisations

Vinqlo is designed for people who find it harder to socialise. Many of them don't click with anyone at their organisation, even though at another there may be someone who would become a great friend. Without Vinqlo, that first contact would be very hard.

That's why we want to bring all organisations together in a single network: the more of us there are, the more people we can help to connect, wherever they are. Each organisation joins with its own invitation code, so everyone arrives safely.

The more organisations, the more people to connect with.
